It Depends On What You Absorb – Not What You Eat!
The small intestine tissues in your body are designed to absorb nutrients from the foods you eat. Yet, too often we are not able to get the nutrients out of our foods. I was explaining this to a client today. She was wondering if she was taking all of her supplements for her fibromyalgia pain, why she wasn’t feeling better.
According to the Limbic Stress Assessment testing I do now, I can find out what is causing her not to absorb her nutrients. And as I have found with other clients an old bacteria or abscess is causing this client’s problems. She has had continuous infections in her tonsil area since childhood, even including tonsil removal, but still has to this day an underlying infection in her throat area causing a constant sore throat. As seen with other clients, I believe by really getting rid of the underlying infection using homeopathic remedies designed to reduce the abscess, her fibromyalgia muscle pain will reduce much more quickly.
In previous issues of this newsletter we have talked about reducing inflammation with the Inflammation diet, with keeping your pH in balance, and by taking specific supplements that are bioavailable. But what if you still have a high free radical reading from the Free Radical Urine test even when you are taking good quality antioxidants? This is a good indication that you may be dealing with a hidden bacteria, or virus, or fungus.
So if you have taken antibiotics and still have a hidden infection what can you do? I use homeopathic remedies in higher potencies to get to these underlying infections. Homeopathic remedies are used to stimulate the immune system with potentized substances directed to the healing responses they need. Yet you need to find the correct homeopathic remedy specifically for you.
Nutritionally, there are a few substances that help activate the immune system. In the last Fibromyalgia newsletter I talked about glutathione. As it helps keep the liver detoxifying, it also stimulates the immune system by keeping the DNA healthy.
Other protein rich green foods also help to get rid of underlying infections. One I have recently started using with clients is from chlorophyll that work to activate adult stem cells. Recent scientific developments have revealed that adult stem cells produced in the bone marrow can travel throughout the body and act to support optimal organ and tissue function. As we get older, our production of adult stem cells diminishes. Stem cell enhancers are products that support the natural role of adult stem cells in the human body.
Adult stem cells are the ones used in bone marrow treatments, and are successfully transplanted from one person to another. Recent research studies have found stem cells in many more tissues than they ever thought possible. But there are only a few stem cells in each tissue. There are found mostly in the brain, bone marrow, blood, blood vessels, muscles, skin, and liver.
You may have heard news reports of "embryonic stem cells" being taken from an unborn human fetus, but here we are talking about adult stem cells, which are produced in your own body. Because they are your own body cells containing your own DNA, your immune system does not identify them as a foreign organism and then attack and destroy them. Thus adult stem cells are not affected by the "rejection" problem that often occurs when embyronic stem cells from outside sources have been unsuccessfully transplanted. And the ethical or religious issues associated with harvesting embryonic stem cells from a human fetus are simply not relevant to adult stem cells, because they are naturally created within your own body.
What Benefits Can You Get from Increasing Stem Cell Activity?
