Rhus tox 200C for Poison Ivy

Rhus tox 200C is a classical homeopathic remedy used most commonly for poison ivy rashes, and other rashes that are similar to poison ivy.

Three pellets taken up to two times per day for up to 10 days will help heal poison ivy more quickly and permanently than many other over the counter remedies.

You can even use this remedy to prevent poison ivy if you are very susceptible to it. You can take one dose (3 pellets) once per week during the spring and summer to build up your immune system so that you will not get it so easily. (I still recommend avoiding the plant as much as possible, since getting the oils of the plant directly on the skin may still make you break out.)

Avoid mint or strong BenGay type creams during use of this remedy. Mint and strong smells will antiodote this remedy, and then it will not work for poison ivy.
